Shaun Maloney could be on his way from Aston Villa.

The Birmingham Mail says Maloney's future at the club is understood to remain far from clear-cut with the Scottish international - currently away with George Burley's squad ahead of Friday's match in Prague - pursued by former club Celtic.

Villa would expect to receive significantly more than the £1million they shelled out in January 2007 as he has two years remaining on his contract.

And any move would also depend on Villa lining up suitable replacements.
