Aston Villa defender Martin Laursen will consider a move to Tottenham next season.

The former AC Milan centre-half is enjoying a rich vein of form after finally casting aside the injury concerns which initially blighted his stint with the midlanders.

Laursen is nearing the end of his three-year deal and has yet to be approached by Villa over new terms.

The Daily Star says the 30-year-old would prefer to remain where he is but would be interested in Spurs if he has to move on.
