Emile Heskey would welcome a reunion with former team-mate Michael Owen at Aston Villa. Heskey and Owen, now at Newcastle, formed a potent partnership for four years at Liverpool.

Currently on international duty with England, Heskey said, "Michael is a great player, he has shown that on many occasions.

"He has been knocked down and always gets back up and performs."

An Owen partnership at Aston Villa would be "nice".
