Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies was delighted with his runout against Reading last week.
"I feel good after the game. Obviously Leroy Lita and Kevin Doyle were giving us the run-around because that's the type of players they are. They like to get balls down in the channels to keep running at you but that's the type of game I needed.
"The standard of Reading's strikers is the standard you will play against in the Premier League because they're both very good strikers and I feel I came through alright."
