Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies admits he doesn't know how he'll be received by his former West Brom fans as they prepare to make a return to the Premiership.
"During pre-season I was still a Baggies player and I got booed against Heerenveen in a friendly," Davies told the Sunday Mercury.
"So if I was getting booed by my own fans I don't know what it would be like coming back with Villa. It'll be interesting to see what the reception is like. But my reasons for leaving were right, I've achieved what I wanted. The Albion players will always be good mates."
