Villa's Davies: FH Hafnarfjordur no easybeats

Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies insists last night's 4-1 UEFA Cup victory over FH Hafnarfjordur was no cruise.

Davies said: "They didn't really make it easy for us by any means. These games can be hard when you don't really know much about the opposition.

"With the early goal we set out stall out. We're disappointed they managed to get their goal and they came out with a bit more in the second half but we got the fourth and put it away."

Home manager Heimir Gudjonsson admitted his team's European campaign was effectively over.

"Since it is obvious we don't have any chance in the second leg we will concentrate on the league," said Gudjonsson.

"I don't think this game will break us down, I doubt we'll play against a team as good as this again this summer."
