Those close to Aston Villa goalkeeper Scott Carson say he can handle the pressure that will arrive after his disappointing England performance on Wednesday night.
The Guardian says a source close to Carson last night claimed the former Leeds goalkeeper was "remarkably upbeat in the circumstances".
Indeed his mental approach to football is such that there is no sense he will be traumatised by the events at Wembley, even if opposition fans, starting with Middlesbrough's supporters at The Riverside tomorrow, are likely to do their utmost to ensure that Croatia remains in his mind during the coming weeks.
