John Carew is convinced Aston Villa can stun crisis club Liverpool tomorrow.

The Norway international played for under-fire Reds boss Rafa Benitez for two seasons at Valencia.

But Carew warned: "We're just playing better and better. Rafa's a good manager who has got results wherever he has been. But we believe we are able to beat Liverpool.

"They only managed a draw against Middlesbrough. It's a good time to meet them."
