Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas says missing Champions League qualification will hurt his squad.
Spurs have been in contention for a top-four finish for most of the campaign, and Villas-Boas admits his players would find it tough to take if they missed out.
"The objective is the Champions League," he said. "After fighting for the position for so long, it would be difficult for us to see it slip away at the end.
"It's in our hands, we can achieve it and we are comfortable with it. The ambition is always to progress."
