Villas-Boas insists Fulham boss Jol remembered fondly at Spurs

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas insists Fulham manager Martin Jol is remembered fondly at White Hart Lane.

Dutchman Jol was ruthlessly axed by Spurs five years ago despite leading them to fifth in the Premier League.

And AVB said: "He is well remembered at the club. But he shows the expectancy here is very high. The club has changed managers a lot in recent years.

"It is very difficult for managers these days. We have to prepare the future but we have to take care of the present. I learnt that lesson last year."
