After victory at Emirates stadium on Saturday, Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry was pressed about the prospect of almost joining Arsenal in the summer.

Barry said: "I never even thought about that before or after the game, it was just a fantastic win for Aston Villa.

"There is a belief we can break into the top four. You can't judge it on one performance like that but we can certainly gain confidence.

"And if we're beating teams like Arsenal on the road the gap's getting a bit closer."
