Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry believes their Champions League battle will go to the last game of the season.

"If you are going into the last game of the season knowing there is something on it and there is something you can achieve then you realise you've had a good season," Barry told AVTV.

"If we are looking at Newcastle at home knowing a victory there can get us into the Champions League then I'm sure we would take that right now.

"But there is a lot of hard work in between so hopefully it is set up for us on the last day of the season so that celebrations can be made."
