Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry insists he's not given a second thought of taking advantage of the Webster transfer law.
"To be honest I don't even know the rules of it, I have seen it written that you can only use it to go abroad," said Barry. "It's nothing that I've mentioned to the manager, nor has he mentioned it to me.
"As for moving abroad, I can't really answer that, it's something you would never rule out but the Premier League is the place to be.
"It's talked about as the best league in the world and that's the way I see it so I'd rather be playing here."
Barry's desire to stay in England could boost Villa even if they cannot convince him to sign a new contract as his value to the likes of Liverpool or Arsenal could still be in the region of £10million.
