Ahead of their Europa League tie, Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi admits he knows all about Lazio coach Davide Ballardini.

Before moving to Manchester United, Rossi worked with Ballardini at Parma, as he revealed: "I had him as a coach for two years in the Primavera of Parma. Both he and his deputy know me very well.

"We are experiencing a very difficult time, but we can recover and we will do great things. I personally do not have much luck at the moment with my finishing, though I am sure the goals will come."

He added: "A move to Juventus? It's only articles in the newspapers, there is little truth in what you read."
