Villarreal defender Gonzalo Rodriguez hopes Argentina coach Diego Maradona hasn't forgotten about him.

He said: "I do not know if Maradona likes me or not. He believes that there are other players better than me and nothing else.

"There are many good players in Argentina, but I hope to have a chance someday. If I get a chance, I know that I will not disappoint."
