Villarreal striker Nihat Kahveci was delighted with his strike against Real Mallorca on Sunday.

The Turkey international is returning from long-term knee injury and said: "The goal has given me great certainty about the future.

"I still need some strengthening in my legs in order to get back to my best shape. I know I cannot play every game given the depth of this squad."
