Villarreal defender Martin Caceres admits he wants a move to Barcelona.

The Uruguay international declared: "For any player, it is exciting to be close to playing for a club like Barcelona.

"In recent weeks, everything has been coming to a head. First I was close to Real Madrid, but now it is Barcelona."

Caceres added: "I have benefited playing for a struggling team like Recre and now, if I must play differently for a team more open to attacking, I'm ready."
