Villarreal are keeping tabs on Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini.
The former Parma star has been followed by Villarreal for two years and could be made available by Atalanta in the summer.
Along with Villarreal, Palermo are also keen on Cigarini, who is rated in the £7 million class.
