Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi would love to work with AS Roma coach Zdenek Zeman, says his agent.

Rossi had been linked to numerous Serie A clubs over the summer, but they opted not to take the gamble after he underwent another major knee operation.

"Roma would be an intriguing option for him, as he would love to work with Zeman," Federico Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia.

"Rossi had given the all-clear to the move, but then it never quite materialised. There were several clubs who showed an interest, but at this moment we mustn't be in a rush.

"The Premier League clubs? We won't rule anything out."
