Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi's hopes of moving to Juventus are on the brink of collapse.
The Bianconeri have made it clear they want to bring in a new striker over the summer and, after Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero became too expensive, they whittled the list down to two.
Rossi had been the favourite, but Tuttosport says talks with Villarreal have hit problems over the 30m price-tag.
AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic would cost 10m less than Italian international Rossi, as he has already declared he wants to leave Roma.
