Villarreal striker Guillermo Franco has turned down an offer from Argentina's Estudiantes.

"At 33 years of age, I would like to end my career in Europe, but I still have not had the right offer," Mexican veteran Franco said.

"The only club that was interested in a concrete way was Estudiantes, but it was not in my plans to play in Argentina."
