Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore has no problem with an offer from Everton being rejected by his Spanish Liga club. "I'm not going to lie, I'm young and my first thought was playing time," Altidore told the New York Times. "It would have been a quick fix for six months, but maybe not the best thing in the long run.

"I understand that the people at Villarreal want me to succeed, and I want to repay their faith in me."
