Villarreal are moving for Portsmouth defender Sol Campbell.

The Mirror says Campbell, 33, is ready to end his two-year stint at Pompey by activating a get-out clause in his £100,000-a-week contract to join Spanish side Villarreal.

Campbell signed a new two-year contract at Fratton Park last summer but he insisted on a lucrative get-out-clause that gave him the option to leave on a free transfer during a six-week period once the current campaign draws to a close.
