Villarreal are pushing through a deal for New York Red Bulls striker Jozy Altidore.

AS says Villarreal hope to find an agreement with MLS chiefs on June 15, the official opening of the American transfer market.

Altidore has already held talks with Villarreal directors in New York and is eager to move to Spain.
