Villarreal are sending midfielder Rio Mavuba on-loan to Lille.
The France international, who has a contract with Villarreal until 2011, is joining Lille on a six-month loan after failing to make an impact since his arrival in Spain last summer.
Mavuba was in France last night for his medical and to finalise his switch to Lille.
