Jonathan de Guzman says he is loving life with Swansea City and insists that he feels a major part of the squad.
The 25-year old Canadian-born midfielder is on a season-long loan with the Swans from Spanish club Villarreal and after featuring ion six of the Welsh club’s first seven Premier League matches this season, is feeling very much at home at the Liberty Stadium.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here already,” he told the club’s official website.
“There’s a great bond here within the club - it’s similar to my days at Feyenoord. That is so important for a new player who has come playing his football in a different country.
“I was very excited when the interest came from Swansea. It was an easy decision to join, particularly as I knew they played good football because I watched Michel Vorm’s progress last season."
