Villarreal striker Jozy Altidore is already planning his New York Red Bull return.

The 20-year old, who left the MLS club in 2008 to embark on a European journey, says he will be back in Red Bull colours later on his career but will make sure he is back before the 2022 World Cup.

The USA international was at the new Red Bull Arena to watch his former club take on the Seattle Sounders on the weekend and confirmed he would one day return to play.

"That's too old. I'll be (32). I'll be back earlier than that, for sure,'' said Altidore. "I wanted to come see this place. I waited so long to see it. When I was here, it was always next year, next year, and it never came. Now that it's here, it's nice.''
