Villarreal’s Altidore and Fulham’s Dempsey linked with Napoli

Reports emanating from Italy suggest that Napoli are interested in USA national team pair Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey.

20-year old forward Altidore is currently contracted to Spanish outfit Villarreal where he will return after spending last season on loan with relegated English club Hull City whilst Dempsey is a key player with Premier League outfit Fulham.

Italian daily Il Mattino implied that the Naples club were giving attention to the duo but had not yet made any enquiries.
