Villarreal have joined Malaga in their interest for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Villarreal want to take Lukaku on-loan in January after losing strikers Nilmar and Giuseppe Rossi to season-ending knee injuries.

For his part, Lukaku insists he wants to stay and battle for a place at Chelsea rather than be loaned out.
