Villarreal are ready to make Internacional striker Nilmar their most expensive signing in the club's history.

El Periodico Mediterraneo says negotiations have continued to rumble on between the two clubs and Villarreal are now ready to raise their bid to £11 million.

However, Villarreal will not go any higher and will move on to different targets if Inter refuse to accept their final bid.
