Villarreal president Fernando Roig is determined not to cave into pressure from Tottenham over Mateo Musacchio.
The Argentine defender is a top target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and a bid has already been tabled.
But Tottenham's offer of €20 million falls well short of Roig's valuation, says Mediterráneo, and he's determined not to be shortchanged.
In Pochettino's favour is Musacchio's desire to move to White Hart Lane, though Spurs will have to up their offer.
Roig, meanwhile, is prepared to compromise and has already instructed intermediaries to find him a replacement for Musacchio.
