Villarreal want to close a deal for West Bromwich Albion midfielder Borja Valero.

Valero joined Villarreal on-loan in August and has been influential in their impressive La Liga campaign so far.

Cadena Ser says Villarreal president Francisco Roig has seen enough to be convinced to shell out to sign Valero permanently from West Brom.
