Villarreal are joining the race for Tottenham defender Dorian Dervite.

The 21 year-old has been linked with a return to France, where St Etienne and Lille are keen.

However, Villarreal are now preparing an offer for Dervite and hope to wrap up a deal before the summer market cranks into serious action after the World Cup.
