Villarreal have offered Juan Roman Riquelme to Napoli.
Desperate to offload the Argentina international, Villarreal are banking on Napoli's success in deals for South Americans Ezequiel Lavezzi and Walter Gargano to encourage them to bid for Riquelme.
The stumbling block for Napoli, however, will be Riquelme's personal demands.
