Villarreal midfielder Rodri Hernandez admits he uses Barcelona ace Sergio Busquets as a role model.

The 21-year-old has received his first call-up for Spain and explained that he sees this chance more as an award than as an assessment.

"Busquets has set an example for me to look up to," he told the press conference at La Roja's training camp.

"Although each one has his [own] qualities, we are similar players.

"[My call-up] is not an exam for me, but a prize that comes to me very soon.

"I have worked hard to be here and I know where I'm from and where I'm going."
