Villarreal are launching a bid for Porto's want-away attacking midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.
The Argentina international revealed this week he was sounded out in January about a move to Villarreal - and now wants a switch to Spain.
Villarreal plan to use the cash raised from Martin Caceres' sale to Barcelona to bid for Gonzalez.
