Villarreal have moved to secure defender Diego Godin to a new contract.

The Uruguay international is in the sights of AC Milan, which has kicked the Yellow Submarine into action this week.

AS says Godin's agent, Paco Casal, is flying to Spain to finalise terms over a new two-year contract extension.
