Villarreal are interested in West Brom midfielder Borja Valero.

Diario de Sevilla says while Valero has signed a pre-contract with Sevilla, that hasn't prevented Villarreal president Fernando Roig from approaching West Brom about talks with the midfielder.

Sevilla have already gone cold on the prospect of signing Valero due to Albion's asking price.

But Roig does have room in his budget to sign the former Real Madrid Castilla man and is keen to open talks with the Premiership new boys.
