Villarreal sporting director Jose Manuel Llaneza has cooled AC Milan talk for Giuseppe Rossi.

Milannews reports Llaneza denied that a deal for the player was already in place between the two clubs.

"Rossi to Milan? This is the first I've heard of it, so what is there to say?

"It is clear that there is nothing to say in regards to this. There is nothing."
