Villarreal supremo Jose Manuel Llaneza admits an agreement is close with Boca Juniors over the sale of midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme.

Llaneza, currently in Argentina, has held three lengthy meetings with Boca officials in the last 48 hours and said: "I believe that now it is possible. The situation will be solved with good will and the three parties in agreement.

"We are negotiating with Boca."
