Villarreal to bid for Sao Paulo star duo Miranda, Hernanes

Villarreal are chasing Sao Paulo pair Hernanes and Joao Miranda.

Villarreal chief Jose Manuel Llaneza was active in the Brazilian transfer market last season and held transfer talks with several clubs, including Sao Paulo.

The Yellow Submarine are now ready to make a double bid for Miranda and Hernanes.

Villarreal management see Miranda as a long-term replacement for Diego Godin, while Hernanes would arrive as competition for Santi Cazorla in midfield.
