Carlos Villanueva insists he wasn't have a pop at Blackburn Rovers boss Paul Ince earlier this month in a Chilean interview.

Villanueva told La Tercera: "It was a mistake in translation. The word 'molestar' which in Chile they use to mean 'tease' here they made it seem as if I was annoyed with Paul Ince.

"I spoke to him and he told me that he had no problem, that I should not worry because the same thing happened to him when he played in Italy - the English press translate things wrongly."
