Aston Villa youngster Chris Herd says Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker has made a huge impact since his loan arrival.
Herd, who is also plying his trade at right-back, has been thoroughly impressed with Walker's outstanding displays and also his kind demeanour in the dressing room.
He told Villa's website: "Kyle has been incredible. Since he's arrived he's been really brilliant.
"He gets forward, he's a top defender but he's a good footballer all-round too. He's got a great future in the game too.
"A lot of people mention his attacking instincts - and rightly so - but I think they underestimate his defensive qualities. He is a right-back so he has to be solid defender and he certainly is.
"He has the best of both - attack and defence - and that's perfect for the modern day full-back. You need that these days.
"He's superb in the dressing room too. He's got a great character. He's down to earth and he's a good laugh too. He's fitted in perfectly."
