Aston Villa starlet Fabian Delph says England can wait.
Any thought of representing his country either for the Under-21s or at full international level has been put to the back of his mind.
"I can still play for the Under-21s this year but I've not really thought about it that much just yet," he said. "It's an aim for me, yes, but my main target is to help this team. I want to stay fit and play for Villa.
"I've not really given much thought to England because I'm trying not to jump ahead.
"I'm trying to stay fit and push on. We've got quite a few playing for England and the Uner-21s so hopefully in the future I can push on to that level.
"But for now my main aim is Aston Villa and getting myself fit and staying fit."
