Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark scored a wonder goal in the reserve-team's victory over Chelsea last night.
Clark was on target with a spectacular overhead kick, although the defender - who took a knock in the process - admits he didn't see it go in!
He was keen to acknowledge the contribution of fellow centre-back Curtis Davies in the build-up to the goal.
Clark told AVTV: "It was a good header by Curtis, who got fouled anyway, but it was nice to see it go in.
"It made up for the header I missed in the first-half. I used to be a striker back in the day, so I think that was it coming back out of me!
"I didn't realise the header was going to fall in my path. It was just behind me, I was there and I just hit it.
"I didn't even see it go in as I took a clatter in the back of my head. But it went in and all the boys are happy with the win."
