Villa winger Albrighton happy with Houllier rotations

Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton is happy working to manager Gerard Houllier's rotation policy.

Albrighton has been on the bench for the last two matches but he insists there's been no sulking because he has total confidence in manager Houllier's squad rotation policy.

He told Villa's website: "I want to play in every football game there is, but if the gaffer thinks it's best for me to be on the bench he's the experienced coach at the football club.

"If he thinks that's best for my development then that's fine by me.

"I'm just going by whatever he tells me to do. Who am I to argue with Gerard Houllier?

"He just said that he felt I needed a rest, so I've missed a couple of games. He's not going to change the team if they're doing well either.

"Gabby and Stewie are both good players who have been playing well. It is going to be hard to get my place back, but hopefully I'll keep fighting and keep trying to do that.

"We've got some great players and now we're getting a bigger squad too. We've got some new additions so everybody's got to accept that although you want to play in every game it's not going to happen."
