Aston Villa are prepared to hand Shay Given a free transfer.
Given is currently playing on-loan at Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
The Telegraph says Villa are ready to let Given leave the club on a permanent basis in January with Swansea City keeping tabs on the goalkeeper.
