Villa willing to cash in on Liverpool, Spurs target Delph

Aston Villa are prepared to sell Fabian Delph this month. The Mirror says they will sell Delph this month - but only if they get £4million.

Tottenham and Liverpool are keen on the England midfielder who is out of contract at the end of the season and has refused a new deal at Villa Park.

So despite their Premier League relegation battle, Villa are now ready to sell the player in the mid-season window in order to avoid Delph leaving on a free in the summer.

Spurs are not believed to be willing to meet Delph's £60,000-a-week wage demands but may revisit the possibility in the final days of the window, especially if they manage to off-load more players from their wage bill.
