Villa whizkid Grealish named U17 Ireland Player of Year

Aston Villa teenager Jack Grealish has been named the Republic of Ireland's under-17s player of the year.

Grealish is six months into his first professional contract, a three-year deal, and can play on either flank or as a support striker through the middle.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder was recognised for scoring three goals in six appearances last year as Ireland made it to the Under-17s European Championships.
