Brentford midfielder Harry Forrester is tightlipped on his future.

Forrester is out of contract this summer and has been linked with Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.

When asked whether it would be difficult to stay if the club were not in the Championship next season, Forrester told the London Evening Standard: "No, it wouldn't be difficult.

"The fans have been brilliant for me and the club is going in the right direction. It is a good place to be. This club has got a lot of aims and goals and they are pushing every player and that increases my chance of playing at the top.

"We will decide at the end of the season. I have spoken to the boss and he was great with me. He respects my decision and I have worked hard and tried to give the best performances I can."
